I have been a licensed psychologist since February 2023, but I knew this was my path from the day I set foot in the university here in Bergamo.

Understanding the dynamics of human behavior, being fascinated by it, and contributing to people’s psychological well-being have always been the targets I wanted to reach in future work. I love working directly with adolescents (I also work in school educational assistance for this reason), my favorite target of my intervention, also because in my private life I still cultivate interests that could be said to be typical for the age (comics, video games, music).

However, I choose them as the main target of my intervention because I am convinced of the inherent richness of adolescence and the fact that every adolescent has the right and the duty to discover himself or herself to the best of his or her potential, thus intervening here as an educational and psychological support. And it is because of this adolescent streak of mine that I decided to try to combine clinical methods and play, particularly role-playing. I came into the world of RPG through the GDRLab project, a project I have been a part of since 2017.

I have always liked the idea of stepping into the shoes of a fantasy character in a world completely different from our own, where we could experiment and let off some steam as well. Seeing the power of this tool in therapy and educational settings prompted me to delve more and more into psycho-educational methods involving its use, such as LabGDR.
